LIFE VinEcoS project started
On 1st July 2016 the project partners started working on VinEcoS. In the 4 years ahead we will develop climate adapted cultivation means in viticulture. VinEcoS is one of 11 German projects that have been choosen this year by the EU funding programme for environment and climate, called LIFE.
The story to VinEcoS began in summer 2015 when we decided to apply for LIFE funds. Back then we did not really know how far we will get with our first attempt to aquire supporting funds for our project idea. After a few rounds of questions and answers during spring 2016 we really enjoyed the news that the EU commission is convinced by the idea and the measures proposed. Now the focus is on implement the planned measures in the best possible way in order to generate good transferable results.
